assigning keyboard keys to midi functions in ableton
« on: November 15, 2009, 05:29:34 PM »
Hey Y'all. quick question hoping someone knows the answer to.

I have a Fast Track Pro with midi input and a shitty old casio electric piano that i've been using as a midi controller. this has been working great but the keys only work playing plugins and live's instruments, i can't figure out how to assign them to do things like trigger clips in session mode or silence tracks like in moldover's setup. if anybody has ideas, they are much appreciated

Thanks

Make sure you've also got track and remote switched on in the midi preferences....

Cheers
