What's up everyone,
I've been looking into getting a midi pickup for my guitar and i'm wondering if any of you have any experience, advice on the subject?
I've been eyeing the roland GK-3 or GK-2 but i'm apprehensive because it says that the pick-up is only compatible with other GK devices or something along those lines.
I'd be using the midi out from my guitar (hopefully) to control soft synths on ableton, control my MicroKorg if it will work and possibly to trigger drums or loops but that's secondary.
any suggestions in terms of which pick-up would work best or if the roland will allow for what i'm hoping
