Controllerists

Moldover
Moldover The humble Matt Moldover may want to defer credit to others, but the fact remains that the insanely brilliant "Musical Anti-Hero" not only coined the name Controllerism and Controllerist, but is also the movement's biggest champion. Between his completely original controllers to his OctaMasher to his latest Controller Battle event. Controllerism would not be where it is today without Matt Moldover.

If technology and music are your life, brace yourself... Moldover is about to reformat your soul. Hailed by FutureMusic as "The Godfather of Controllerism," and beloved by by 700,000 YouTube viewers to date, Moldover is a new breed of music icon. Combining the charisma of a rock star, the mad genius of a basement inventor, and the radical inclusiveness of the DIY internet generation, Moldover is "literally throwing away the rule book and reinventing the wheel" (Remix Magazine). Witness his balls-to-the-wall live show at a club, experience his Multiplayer Music Installations at a festival, or pick up and play the "Light Theramin" packaging of his debut album and understand why the next paradigm for music is a one-man-brand called Moldover.

Bandesnaci
BandesnaciVladimir Coman-Popescu, aka Bandesnaci, is a digital musician, controllerist, sound engineer and designer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He has been studying the piano since the age of 8 and has been writing, playing and recording music since 2005, when he first started gigging as a guitar player. Most of these bands turned out to be short-lived projects and he eventually reached the conclusion that the typical workflow within a band didn't suit his needs, something that many Controllerists have expressed to us.

He decided to start the Bandesnaci project out of a need for complete musical (and practical) freedom. The stage name comes from Lewis Carroll's 'frumious' Bandersnatch, misspelled. He liked the idea of having the name of something that's already out there, but hasn't been fully imagined, thus leaving him with the freedom of conceiving and constantly recreating the thing myself.
